Coolest Cat Cafe Logos

Blue Cat Cafe: Austin, TX, USA

Austin is known for being different (Keep Austin Weird is the small business slogan!) and the city's cat cafe keeps tradition with this quirky logo.  I'm visiting soon and pray they have a sticker for my laptop.

La Gateria, Mexico City, Mexico

My absolute favorite.  It's hard to achieve simple and memorable in a brand at the same time, but La Gateria's 'G' cat head nails it.  Cafe review here.

Mog on the Tyne: Newcastle, United Kingdom

This logo fakes you out on first glance with the heart shape and hot pink color.  A second look reveals this 'sweet kitty' has a Mona-Lisa-Smile side of bad-ass.  Cafe review here.  

Daily Mews Cat Cafe: Charlotte, NC, USA

Daily Mews hasn't even opened yet, but if their clever logo is any indication, it's going to be a thoughtfully designed space.  I'm a fan of the simple M style which also doubles as kitty ears.  Cute, yes, but very cool.  

Curious Cats: Derby, United Kingdom

Tattoo-worthy?  Heck, this logo might just rewrite the whole darn cats-as-tattoos book.  The ultimate in coolness.  PS.  The Sphinx cat in this logo lives at Curious Cats and his name is Alan (wait for it) Wrinkleman.   Cafe review here.

The Cafe Meow: Minneapolis, MN, USA

I'm fascinated by 'what do you see' picture tests that supposedly reveal your true personality.  Maybe that's why I love this logo from soon-to-be-opened The Cafe Meow.  Part cat, part coffee, it makes you look twice.

El Gato Coffeehouse: Houston, TX, USA

In a nod to Houston's strong Mexican heritage, El Gato utilizes a colorful Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos) cat skull.  The celebration has taken off in popular culture creating a new wave of cool (cat) art.

Koneko: New York, NY, USA

Minimalist style is heavily associated with today's sense of cool and Koneko is one of coolest cat cafes out there.  The spare aesthetic of the cafe is also captured in the logo.  I'm not surprised that even the cat cafes are branding with modern art, this is the hometown of MoMa after all.  Cafe review here.

Crooked Tail Cat Cafe: Greensboro, NC, USA

Crooked Tail recently opened and I plan to visit asap because if the logo is any indicator, this cat cafe should be modern, quirky and cool.  Cross your fingers that they have stickers for my laptop.

The Neighbor's Cat has seen a lot of cat cafe logos from around the world.  Most are sweet and adorable but a few brands are so hip, so clever, so tattoo-worthy that they have earned a coveted spot on my laptop cover.
